Machine Mastery Classes (Winter / Spring 2010)

The schedule for Machine Mastery classes is now available.  These classes are for customers of Quilt as Desired who have purchased a sewing machine from us (either a Janome, Baby Lock or Husqvarna sewing machine) and who were told at the time of purchase that classes were included.  These classes are free of charge, with a maximum of 8 per class and we ask that you call ahead to reserve your spot.

Level 1 - Call for dates and times - Machine Overview, Parts, accessories, changing pressor feet, feed dogs - lowering / raising, function buttons, sewing  modes, set menus, changing needles, maintenance, bobbin winding, threading, needle types, thread types, tension.

Level 2 - Call for the next date and times:   Utility Stitches & Seams - Straight stitch / wovens, reverse, lockstitch, knit stitches (lightening, zig zag, edge finishing), overcasting, jeans hem, blind hem, buttonholes.

Levely 3 - Call for the next date and times:  Quilting / Applique / Decorative Stitches - (For machine owners (with approximate machine value of $500.00 or more) - Scant 1/4 inch, stitch in the ditch, hand stitching look, crazy quilting, free motiong, satin stitch, buttonhole

Level 4 - Call for the next date and times:  (For those machines that have memory features).  Machine Memory features education.
