Tip of the Week

Yes, it's time for a new tip

Let's see, what would be a good tip this week.... Changing a needle on your sewing machine after 8 - or 10 hours of use would be a good one.  Yes, during this time, of solid regular sewing, your needle (at full speed), may have pierced fabric between 400,000 and 500,000 times!  Needles do get dull and for maximum stitch quality, changing the needle  is important.

Yes, I have heard of stories from customers who come in to the shop and tell us that the last time they changed a needle was when Trudeau was Prime Minister.  Yikes, either they sew about 10 minutes a year or they found some outstandingly strong superman titanium needles (I just made this up).  Anyways, changing the needle often will ensure that your project is the best it can be.
